Journaling is a good way to destress and practice gratitude on a daily basis. You can start by picking out the topics that could make you feel better. Here are a few prompts to get you started.


For limiting beliefs and thought patterns:

  1. What makes you powerful?
  2. How can you use your power to achieve your dream life?
  3. Name someone who inspires you.
  4. What are your similarities and differences with them?
  5. What belief are you holding onto that is holding you back?

For when you’re feeling overwhelmed:

  1. What is causing you stress right now?
  2. Which areas of your life are the most overwhelming?
  3. What keeps you from experiencing peace?
  4. What is your favourite way to unwind?
  5. What is the one thing that happened recently that made you feel truly happy?

Positive affirmations

  1. What activity makes you feel alive?
  2. What would you say is your best quality?
  3. What do you like most about yourself?
  4. What does success look like for you? What does success mean to you?
  5. What is something I would love to try and is there a time/place I could plan this?


For bettering yourself every day

  1. What parts of your daily life need to change for you to achieve your goals?
  2. What have you accomplished in the past year that you’re proud of?
  3. How can you show yourself more love?
  4. List 3 goals you want to accomplish today - does not matter if they are big or small
  5. What is something in the past that you want to let go of?
